The Twenty-First Annual International ACM-SIGIR Conference on Research and Development in Information Retrieval, jointly hosted by the Departments of Computer Science at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and the University of Melbourne, will be held in Melbourne, Australia, from Monday 24th to Friday 28th of August 1998.
The two conference venues are the Sofitel Hotel, 25 Collins Street, Melbourne; and the Second Floor Functions Rooms of the Melbourne Town Hall, cnr Swanston and Collins Streets, Melbourne (use the main entry on Swanston Street Walk, and ask the doorperson for directions).
