The University of Melbourne is located within easy walking distance
of the many facilities and attractions offered by downtown Melbourne.

Accommodation
There are two nearby hotels, both within easy walking distance of
both the University and the CBD:

Hotel Melbourne, which has advised of room-only
accommodation for $AUD99 per night, inclusive of GST, at the
"Government/University" rate.
(Note -- there are two Ibis hotels in Melbourne, the correct one is
the one linked above, at 15-21 Therry Street, Melbourne
3000.)

The Rydges Carlton,
which has advised of room-only
accommodation for $AUD135 per night, inclusive of GST, at the
"Government/University" rate.
There is no guaranteed quota of rooms at these rates, and you should
make you own bookings directly with the hotels in accordance with
your own needs, via the fax/telephone numbers listed on their web
pages.
Note also that the ADCS organisers have no financial relationship of
any type with either venue, and you are free to choose any
accommodation options -- including using Internet booking rates if
they are cheaper.
