"Maps become a user interface to many things
"Essentially, all models are wrong but some are useful."
"We have to do better at producing tools to support the whole research cycle
"Data and information flow will be far more valuable than hardware and software."
I am working on human spatial cognition, navigation, localization, movement data, and interaction with autonomous mobility systems. I am offering to supervise research projects in these areas (spatial human-computer interaction, spatio-temporal data mining, geographic information retrieval, intelligent transportation systems, and in fundamental topics of geographic information science).
