About Maria

I am a Post-doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Infrastructure Engineering, at Melbourne University School of Engineering. I am currently involved with the 'Talking about Place' project.

My interests are in qualitative spatial reasoning, spatial knowledge representation, spatial cognition, natural language processing, GI retrieval and intelligent human-computer interaction.

I have taught programming with MapObjects, GIS for Engineers, and Spatial Analysis courses.
