Abstract

This paper describes information visualization techniques utilizing three dimensions and animation. We describe several practical general-purpose algorithms for producing three-dimensional graph layouts that represent relational information. We also describe a tool that allows easy application, evaluation, and refinement of three-dimensional information visualization and animation techniques.
